STARFISH SWIMMING LESSONS The StarFish Aquatics Institute (SAI) offers a number of courses in which the objective is to teach people to swim and to be safe in, on and around the water. Our Learn-to-Swim programs are the most comprehensive and effective programs of their kind available anywhere. All Swim Instructors at the Manitou Pool are trained by the StarFish Aquatics Institute (SAI) in Water Safety and Instruction. Swimming Pool use Policy: • Lesson children can get in 5-minutes before their lesson during public swimming times or • 5-minutes before their lesson before or after hours with direct instructor supervision. Due to liability, lesson children cannot enter the water: • Before or after hours without an instructor supervising. • During lap swimming times. Other family members must pay regular entry fees, if utilizing any facility area during the lesson (hot tubs, weightroom, adult sunning area, etc.). This includes lesson children wanting to play or practice after the lesson during our regular public swim times.

SPRING BOARD DIVING LESSONS Welcome to Manitou Pool and Fitness Center’s Spring Board Diving Private lesson program! Classes are 45 minutes in length and is a total of 6-lessons. We offer diving lessons from beginners to advanced, starting at ages 8 and up! Swimmers must be able to swim to the side after jumping off the board (recommended for Starfish Swim School Blue and up).
